tony gonzalez-3-831x1024Anthony David Gonzalez (born February 27 1976) was a former American football tight end who was a part of the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons. He is regarded as one of the greatest tight end players of all time He is the NFL's all-time leading player in receptions and receiving yards for a tight end along with ranking third overall in receiving. Gonzalez's first 12 years were played with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 1997, he was selected as the 1st pick. For the last five years the team was part of the Atlanta Falcons. Gonzalez quit in 2013 and has been an analyst on football for NFL on Prime Video. He previously worked with CBS Sports and Fox Sports. Gonzalez also received six first-team All-Pro honors. The player is known for his strength and his infrequent fumbling, Gonzalez appeared in 270 of 272 games during the regular season and lost just two fumbles across 1,327 passes. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Gonzalez was inducted in the year 2019.
